The holidays are upon us: Procrastinate no more. Easter and Passover reservations need to be made now, if not last week. If you need some ideas of where to go, take a look at our list of restaurants in Broward County serving Easter meals, restaurants in Palm Beach County with Easter menus, and/or places in South Florida to have a Passover Feast.

Though the weekend is primarily given to holiday happenings, there are a few food- and drink-focused gatherings in the week leading up to the festive feasts. After the jump, find details on tap takeovers, food-truck gatherings, and other events in Broward and Palm Beach.

Tonight:

Food Truck Invasion in downtown Hollywood -- The weekly food truck rally is 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. with more than two dozen South Florida food trucks -- like B.C. Tacos, The Fish Box, and Mangia Mia -- lining up at Arts Park in Young Circle in downtown Hollywood. There is no admission charge, but bring cash for the trucks.

Tuesday:

Florida beer tap takeover -- Sweetwater Bar & Grill in Boynton Beach will host a Cigar City and Tequesta Brewing Company tap takeover starting at 6 p.m.

Dogfish Head Brewery night -- World of Beer in Coconut Creek will host a Dogfish Head tap takeover from 7 to 9 p.m. with brews like Noble Rot, Faithfull Ale, Ta Henket, 120 Minute IPA, Burton Baton, and Red & White available. 120 Minute IPA fans take note: There will be a one bottle per customer limit.

Wednesday:

Food Truck Invasion -- There will be a lunchtime food-truck minirally every Wednesday in April at Hollywood City Hall, 2600 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood. The rally is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Four trucks are planned for this week: Dolce Gourmet Cupcakes, Ms. Cheezious, the Rolling Stove, and Taco Fresh.

Spring beer tasting at Cafe Boulud -- Sample spring beers and canapes for a spring beer tasting event at Cafe Boulud. The event is at 6 p.m., and the cost is $28 per person, plus tax and tip.   

Thursday:

Full-Moon Party at Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale -- The monthly no-cover Full-Moon Party is 7 to 10 p.m. with cocktail and appetizer specials. The theme this month is Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and donations that evening will benefit Soles4Souls.

Food truck rally at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino -- Two dozen food trucks -- including Veggie Xpress, Nacho Bizness, and Ms. Cheezious -- will roll in for the once-a-month rally at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The rally is 5:30 to 10 p.m. Parking is free - bring cash for the trucks.
