Congratulations: you made it through yet another working week. You might as well give yourself a pat on the back to celebrate -- or better yet, a drink or three. 5. Dubliner's Inaugural Brunch
When it comes to drinking, the Irish are known for doing it best. Dubliner Fort Lauderdale is bringing another boozy Sunday breakfast option to downtown. Starting this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Himmarshee Irish pub will be serving up a number of healthy and gut-busting options to soak up the $15 bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas. To kick-off the new weekly event, the spot is giving away meals with the first 100 patrons.

4. Stitch Rock 2013
Everyone loves a craft fair - obviously, because of the food. On Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., Stitch Rock Indie Craft Fair is making its way back to Old School Square. Over 80 crafty vendors; vintage suppliers; food trucks like PS 561, Eggstatic, Sugar Daddy, as well as others; bakers with everything from gluten-free to sugar and wheat-laden goods; and more will be onsite. Entrance is five bucks.

3. Gutentag! It's Oktoberfest Time!
We may be thousands of miles away from the beer guzzling festivities taking place in Germany, but that's no reason to avoid copious consumption of alcohol. On Friday from 5 to 11 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 11 p.m. at Jaco Pastorius Park, the City of Oakland Park is holding its annual Oktoberfest celebration. A number of German and beer-themed activities are included, such as the Beer Barrel Roll, Beer Stein Race, Strudel eating contest and Dachshund Dash, and live German Bands. Entrance is $5.

2. Rum Tasting
It's hard to find a spirit more tropical - or indicative of South Florida, at least - than rum. Feel free to go ahead and drink some. On Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., Don Ramon Restaurant is going to help you in your rum drinking journey with a charity rum tasting event to benefit ASPIRA. For a $15 donation at the door, sample rum, eat tapas, and dance your cha cha off with Fred Astaire's professional dancers.

1. Smoke on the Water
Right now everyone up north is starting to head indoors; we're doing the opposite down here. To celebrate South Floridian's favorite time of year - or just have an excuse to eat - GoRiverwalk is hosting it's first ever Smoke on the Water BBQ Feast on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. Taking place in downtown Fort Lauderdale's Esplanade Park the feast includes food, beer, and live entertainment. The event is free and open to the public. Barbecue bites smoked dishes, and grilled items will be offered from participating restaurants for five bucks apiece.
