Mother's Day is about showing the woman who brought you--or your children--into the world that you appreciate her efforts. Not only did she carry you--or, again, your children--around for nine months, but she's had to put up with your crap ever since.
She kind of deserves a round of applause for that.
Or, at least, a nice meal. That being said, holidays tend to get pricey after a while. If you're looking to treat mom to something nice, but budget friendly, we have a list of restaurants running specials after the jump.
For a nontraditional Mother's Day, the Sushi spot will be offering an all day happy hour from 11 am to close. More than 35 sushi and small plate items will be featured for $2.25 to $7.25 a piece with drinks ranging from $3 to $7.
