At the Broward County Courthouse in Ft Lauderdale, champagne and wedding cake were served as some of Florida's first legal same-sex marriages were performed. At the stroke of midnight on Tuesday, January 6th, the individual ceremonies began, culminating at 3 a.m. with a group ceremony.
