With Easter coming up on Sunday — let's face it — you need an escape from the family. There are only so many questions about why you're still single and not doing anything with your life a person can take before they snap. Although we can't get you out of the country (sorry), we can provide some affordable and awesome options. Just like a hooker, these events are fun and cheap, but without the STDs and daddy issues. So pick one and enjoy your Easter egg hunt with a hangover!
5. Friday Happy Hour Presents: Phil Barnes and DJ Misha Samson
Kick off the weekend at 5:00 p.m. today at Fort Lauderdale's Stache. The always handsome indie singer Phil Barnes will be crooning while DJ Misha Samson spins some mashups and ol’ school hip hop. Happy hour extends until 9 p.m. with half prices beverages that will make you feel warm and fuzzy.
4. Marvlec, Falseta, Wolves & Tigers and One Last Embrace at Inkwell Pub
Inkwell Pub certainly has its hands full tonight with four very different kind of rock bands. The punk rock Marvlec, post-hardcore One last Embrace, soul-funk Wolves and Tigers and self-proclaimed just “rock” Falseta will provide the jams of the night. The bands are all local, and all rock. What more can you ask for?
3. Legacy: A Kurt Cobain Tribute Concert
Nirvana tribute band Smells Like Grunge will be performing a special tribute show to Kurt Cobain on the anniversary of his death. With wigs and authentic '90s grunge outfits, you may just feel like you've gone back in time. "We're excited to be playing this tribute show locally this year, so we want it to be something special," drummer Jay Scott told New Times this week. "We'll be taking it a little further than our typical show, and we are definitely planning some big surprises."
2. Rat’s Mouth at Dada
Hailing from Boca Raton, the appropriately named Rat’s Mouth (get it?) will be jamming at everyone's favorite Delray spot, Dada. So kick back in Dada's beautiful outdoor space and enjoy the slick sounds and sexy bass lines of Rat's Mouth — just be careful when ordering. This cheap night out can turn expensive real quick after a few dozen butternut squash raviolis.

1. What the Wolf Is, Capstan, Wilder Sons, and more at Anonymous Guitars
Presented by Megaton Management & Booking and Anonymous Guitars, a grand total of seven bands will be playing on Saturday. That’s right, folks, seven bands for a mere ten bones. The list of talented musicians include What the Wolf Is, Capstan, Wilder Sons, Back Home and more. Trust us, this is cheaper than Taking Back Sunday at Revolution Live, and that show is sold out anyway.
