Because woman cannot live on reheated Amy's Organics breakfast burritos alone (would if I could, believe me), this month seems ripe for a revamp on home cooking options. Whether it's sticking to that New Year's resolution to only eat foods with ingredients you could actually spell in a spelling bee or if it's just a way to spruce up the lunchbox, an education on the classics may be in order. Enter Sublime's cooking class on Wednesday, January 19th.
This how-to instructional course will focus on old world appetizers and tapas with a vegan twist, including Sublime's signature Pesto Polenta Squares infused with basil, Zucchini Pancakes and a breaded eggplant rollatini served with an earthy tomato sauce.
Each dish will come with a chef demo and will be paired with a sample of Sublime's organic wines. Iced tea, soft drinks, coffee and tea will also be included.
The 6:30 p.m. class costs $65 (plus tax and gratuity) and includes a commemorative ticket for admission to the class. Class size is limited.
