Entry includes a silent auction and a dinner the night before the race at the Bamford Park Multipurpose Building at 3800 SW 92nd Ave. in Davie at 5 p.m.; it's $10 for the dinner only. Individual kids 12 and under pay $10 entry to compete in the 100-yard dash. The 10K race begins promptly at 7 a.m., and the 5K begins at 7:30. Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. Thursday (January 2).
