Chef Nick Little and Kyle Pintarelli of Rockstar Catering Company and Rockstar Bistro present "Your Mom's Food, But Different", a five course wine dinner, this Saturday, January 15th at 7:30 at Rockstar Bistro inside the Windsor Gardens Hotel in Palm Beach Gardens.

This dinner offers favorite comfort foods with a twist. In a phone conversation, Chef Nick Little explained that the dishes will be childhood favorites playfully deconstructed and tweaked to bring excitement to old standbys.

Lobster Gruyere and Truffle Mac and Cheese will be paired with a 2008 Zind Humbrecht Riesling 2008; Damn Good Shepherd's Pie will be paired with a 2008 Edge Cabernet, BBQ Pork Belly Spare Ribs will be paired with a 2004 Marques De Vargas Reserva Rioja and The leftover Plate (boneless fried chicken with buttermilk ricotta and caviar will be paired with a 2009 Foxen Chenin Blanc.

Deconstructed Smores will be served as the dessert course and will be paired with a 2009 Croze Cabernet Sauvignon Port with production limited to 200 cases.

The five-course dinner and wine pairing is $49.95. Chef Nick Little and Kyle Green of Selected Brands will guide diners through the menu and explain the wine pairings. Reservations are required, as space is limited. For reservations, call (561) 839-2181 or visit rockstarcateringcompany.com.
