Greetings, fellow penny-pinchers! It's time for your weekly rundown of all the super cool, yet refreshingly cheap stuff you should do this weekend.

Read on for details on the fifth-annual ARTober Fest at Propaganda, Smells Like Grunge at Copper Blues, and more!

Concert at Absent Heart Studios

6 p.m. Friday, October 9, at Absent Hearts Studios, 3685 Investment Ln., West Palm Beach. No cover. Visit Facebook

It’s a concert of all sorts of great music at Absent Heart Studios — but would you expect any less? Our answer, at least, is no. Presented by Distinguish Gentleman Booking and Absent Hearts Studio, the lineup for tonight's event includes Coma Etiquette, Eterna, Sea of Surrender, Eunoia, and Legacies.

Fifth Annual ARToberfest

2 p.m. Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, at Propaganda, 6 S. J St., Lake Worth. $5 cover after 8 p.m. Visit Facebook

The fifth-annual ARToberfest is here! After that many years, especially here in fickle South Florida you know it’s a good thing. Sponsored by Saltwater Brewery, this event will allow you to sip on some seasonal brews, check out over 60 art vendors, and jam out to a whopping 52 bands.

Bands on the lineup include indie-rock outfit Peculiar, beach-pop players Peyote Coyote, folk-rockers JC Dwyer and the Blackbirds, and more. Brews, bands, and art — what more could you ask for from this two-day fest? How about a measly $5 cover? Down!

Smells Like Grunge

9 p.m. Sunday, October 11, at Copper Blues West Palm Beach, 550A S. Rosemary Ave., West Palm Beach. $10 cover. Visit Facebook

If you missed seeing Nirvana live, now is your chance. The band — well, tribute band — will be playing at Copper Blues this Sunday. It’s the perfect time to whip out the plaid sweater and ripped jeans lying in your closet.

The Vibrators with Ese, Talking Dogs, Riot Agents, FTMF, The MC-1

6 p.m. Saturday, October 10, at Kreepy Tiki Tattoos & Boutique. 2606 S. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale. $10 cover. Visit Facebook

Come see the Vibrators this Saturday — and no, this is not an inappropriate event, you pervert. The Vibrators have quite an impressive rap sheet, from touring with artists such as Iggy Pop, Ian Hunter, and more. Joining them are bands such as Ese, Talking Dogs, Riot Agents, FTMF, and the MC-1. Drink specials also help make this thrifty event worthwhile.

Soundscape at Anonymous Guitars

6:30 p.m. Saturday, October 10, at Anonymous Guitars. 10778 NW 53rd St., Sunrise. $10 cover. Visit Facebook

In the mood for some indie rock for mad cheap? Now is your chance. Check out Migrate, Deafrabbit, Kelly Green, and more at Anonymous Guitars this Saturday. Hipster attitude not mandatory, but encouraged.
