It's not easy to come up with something new to say about Locos Por Juana. Fact is, we've lavished them with praise time and again, and deservedly so. But how many times can one write about their stellar blend of cumbia, reggae, hip-hop, rock, and tropical flavors? How many times can you read about their infectious, high-energy performances? Do you care to hear once more about their recent Grammy nod? And whose fault is that? Theirs! They work tirelessly, gigging constantly, recording regularly, and making sure the locals shake their ass with gusto every time they take to the stage.

So why should you care about this Saturday's performance at Transit any more than you usually do? You don't need any special reason to head out, tip a few back and enjoy their descargas. Ah, but this time is different, because one of Miami's most dependable party-starters are heading overseas for a string of European dates that'll take them through Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands following this show. Not to mention, they'll be giving a glimpse of some material from their upcoming 4th album, Somos de la Calle.

So show the boys you'll miss them. Head to Transit, shake your ass, and wish them happy travels.

Locos Por Juana perform at Transit Lounge (729 SW 1 Ave) on Saturday, June 13 at 11pm.
