The Cheesecake Factory, the chain with the 500-page menu best-known for its vast cheesecake selection, including Chocolate Tuxedo Cheesecake and Snickers Bar Chunks and Cheesecake, is opening a Pembroke Pines location.

The "Factory" will open August 22 at the Shops at Pembroke Gardens. This addition seals the deal for Pembroke Gardens as the "go-to" place for dining in southwest Broward.

Pembroke Gardens is already home to 17 restaurants, including RA Sushi, Brimstone Woodfire Grill, Brio Tuscan Grille, Lime Fresh Mexican, and Village Tavern.

The new Pembroke Pines Cheesecake Factory is the ninth South Florida

location for the chain, which has restaurants in Sawgrass Mills, Boca

Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Coconut Grove, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach

Gardens, and Miami.
