There may not be many gardens in Palm Beach Gardens (not many beaches, either). But there is a new Field of Greens (11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Dr., 561-340-1600), scheduled to open tomorrow in the resurgent Downtown at the Gardens mall.

The family-owned chainlet of local eateries (West Palm Beach and Wellington) is known for its healthy, DIY salads, sandwiches and wraps. The new PBG location will feature coffee and expanded dessert menus, offering everything from café con leche and various flavored coffees to chocolate chip-peanut butter squares and marble brownies.

All three FoGs are also getting a handful of menu additions, among them fat and cholesterol-free vegetarian chili, pulled pork Cuban-style sandwich on a pretzel roll and spicy black bean salsa veggie burger. Lighter dishes for $5.95 are also among the menu newbies.
