Here's a real-world scenario for you. You're dying to get out of the house and grab a bite to eat, but finances are low and you just don't have a hundred bucks to spend on dinner.

Heck, even fast food is expensive, according to the New York Times. What's the solution?

How about heading over to one of the two food-truck roundups scheduled for this evening in Broward? For about $10 a person, you can feast on street food made fresh. Here are a few suggestions for picky eaters:

Vegans - The toughest people to please, these non-flesh-eating mammals can head over to Mac n', the first (and only) all-vegan food truck in South Florida.

Cavemen - Cavemen may be a rare breed, but just in case that weird Geico
spokesperson knocks on your door (no, not the lizard), take him to B.C. Tacos, where all food is fresh yet prehistoric.

Kids - It's sort of a fact of life. Kids love grilled cheese, and CheeseMe
has grilled cheese in every shape and size. From a classic American
cheese sammy with a side of tomato soup to sophisticated affairs with
short ribs, there's a cheese with your name on it, no matter what age
you are.

The Cast of Jersey Shore - Hey, besides gym, tanning,
laundry, drinking, and smushing, it seems like these guys eat a lot.
We're sure that Snooki would love a nice hot Italian sausage... from
Guiseppe's Italian Sausage.

WingNuts - It's football season, and that means one thing -- lots of people in jerseys eating wings. You can head over to South Florida's Bru's Room -- or you can let the iconic sports bar come to you with its new Bru's Traveler mobile unit. Same wings, less driving (for you).

Food trucks at Chrysler Jeep Dodge of North Broward from 5 to 10 p.m. Trucks serving dinner include Guissepe's Italian Sausage, Chef on 4 Wheels, Big Kahuna, Monster Burger, 90 Miles to Go, Divan Bakery, Nacho Mamma, Catered Bliss, the Red Truck, Cheese Me, Mangia Mia, Bru's Traveler, Mac N Food Truck, Chamo's on Wheels, Papas Tapas, Tango Grill, Slow Food Truck, Chef on Wheels, ChurroMania, the MexZican Gourmet, and Nacho Bizness.

Chrysler Jeep Dodge of North Broward, 909 S. Federal Highway, Pompano Beach.

Cypress Creek Food Truck Roundup tonight from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Trucks include B.C. Tacos,
Che Grill, the Chill Stop, Dog Eat Dog, Gypsy Kitchen, Latin Burger & Taco, Miso Hungry, and
Truckin' Good Pizza.

6001 Powerline Road, Fort Lauderdale.
