Tequesta Fest This Weekend at Paradise Park: Food Trucks Will Be There

If you love the idea of slamming a plateful of food-truck tacos and hitting the Silver Streak, the Tequesta Fest may be your opportunity to do just that. The Tequesta Fest, from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Paradise Park, will have carnival rides, live music, and a dozen food trucks.

Slated to appear are Big Belly's Deli, Curbside Gourmet, Divan Bakery, Dolce Gourmet Cupcakes, Herbeque truck, On the Side, Out of Many, Philly Grill, Stocked 'N' Loaded, Taco Fresh, and the Fire Within. Admission to the fest is free to $10.

New this year is a kick-off party from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday with beer, bands, and food trucks (basically the same lineup as Saturday). Admission to the preparty is free to $5. Both days, there will be a food drive drop-off point at event entrances to benefit Good Shepherd.

Support the independent voice of South Florida and help keep the future of New Times free.

Keep New Times Broward-Palm Beach Free... Since we started New Times Broward-Palm Beach, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of South Florida, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
