Today Is Free Scoop Day at Häagen-Dazs

Now that we've finished with Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day, we have one more food-related holiday coming up -- Free Scoop Day at Häagen-Dazs!

Today, May 10, from 4 to 8 p.m., just walk into any participating Häagen-Dazs ice cream shop and get a one-scoop cone for free!

Häagen-Dazs will also announce its search for the official "Häagen-Dazs Flavor Ambassador." Participants will be able to upload videos to the Häagen-Dazs Facebook site, explaining why they want the title and duties, which include eating all the ice cream they want for a year. Other perks for the Flavor Ambassador include a blog on the Häagen-Dazs website and a chance to participate in taste-testing new flavors.
