Things seem to be getting a little frisky again at Feelgoods Rock Bar and Grill in downtown West Palm Beach as the manager was assaulted last Thursday and the suspect led off to jail.

According to the police report, Feelgoods bouncers were escorting a man, identified as Michael Elias Salha, out of the bar Thursday night around 3 a.m. when he allegedly assaulted Michael Piegaro. Police officers on foot patrol witnessed the altercation and placed Salha under arrest for Affray -- or fighting in a public space.

This is the fourth instance at Feelgoods this month. What's going on over over there?

But Piegro apparently has a soft spot for rowdy patrons, as he was reluctant to press charges against Salha, who was transported to the Palm Beach County Jail, according to the report.

The incident report narrative reads:

"On Thursday 09/26/13 at approximately 0328 hours, Ofc Ruiz was on foot patrol in front of 219 Clematis St. (Dr. Feel Goods Night Club), during bar closing time. Ofc Ruiz saw security bouncers from Dr. Feelgoods escort a white male outside of the bar entrance. Ofc Ruiz then saw the manager of Dr. Feelgoods, later identified as, Michael Piegaro step out of the front door of Dr. Feelgoods. The first white male, later identified as Michael Elias Salha (W/M 09/08/2019), ran up to Piegaro and punched him in the face with his right hand. Salha was placed under arrest for Affray. Piegaro was reluctant in pressing charges but he did complete a written statement. Salha was subsequently transported to the PBCJ."

It's reassuring to know that there is some magnanimity in the bar community. But don't let this embolden you to take the liberty of getting wasted on someone's private property and jack them in the face just because you feel a little slighted, because you will probably end up in jail, prison, or even worse -- banned from your favorite bar forever.
