Detention
When the monthly Wednesday-night party known as Blowtorch came to an end early this year, many people didn't know how to fill the void. Stretch jeans and dancing shoes were put back in the closet, and livers were forced to dry out. (Well, not really.)
But hey, hey, hey! Turn that frown upside down, comrades. The Blowtorch gang has magically welded together another Wednesday-night party, this time called Detention. You'll get the same great tunes -- classic rock, old school hip-hop, and '80s dance -- and now there's more room to bust a move and act the fool. -- Audra Schroeder
