Known best for its authentic New York-style bagels, the Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. recently announced two new restaurant locations, coming to Coral Springs and downtown Fort Lauderdale this spring.

Both restaurants will feature a new store design, new menu items, and innovative new services. The sleek and modern layouts will feature brick walls, iconic images of New York City landmarks, and subway maps of various destinations across the borough.

The new restaurants will also feature an updated menu that includes Bagel Tasters, bite-sized bagel nuggets. In addition, expect to find a specialty flavor of fresh-roasted coffee introduced every few months.

Although these new elements are a bit of a change from existing locations, don't worry: You'll still get the feeling you've been transported to Brooklyn, New York. And the bagels will be just as good.

Founded in Delray Beach in 2009, the Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. is known for its proprietary water treatment system called "Brooklyn Water Works" to replicate the natural composition of the water that flows from the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. This technology supposedly allows the company to produce "authentic" New York bagels anywhere.

The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. currently operates 20 locations nationwide, ten of which can be found across South Florida. The new Coral Springs and Fort Lauderdale restaurants will be the first for expansion plans in Broward County, joining the current Hollywood location.

The new restaurants will be located at 2554 N. University Drive, Coral Springs; and 601 SE Third Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Visit brooklynwaterbagels.com.
