As McDonald's sales fall and Subway isn't as fresh as it used to be, it would be a mistake to think the era of truly "fast" food is coming to an end. Far from it. Millennials still want their meals prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
That's where fast casual comes in: spots like Chipotle (despite its recent e. coli woes), Tijuana Flats, Shake Shack, and Flash Fire Pizza. They're places where you can order food that at least feels a tad healthier, is made using more "natural" ingredients, and doesn't all come from a fryer.
While a burger doesn't always feel like the healthiest on-the-go meal option, you can still add Habit Burger Grill to that list. The fast-casual burger chain is known for a few "healthy" meal options, including line-caught tuna steak sandwiches and tempura-battered green-bean fries.
Now you can get your habit on at a new Habit Burger location when the chain welcomes its third South Florida restaurant later this month, in Royal Palm Beach. The grand opening — slated for Wednesday, January 20 — comes less than a year after the first location, which opened in Delray Beach last June, and a 4-month-old Miami restaurant.
To celebrate the grand opening of its newest Palm Beach County location, the fast-casual burger joint will host several special events ahead of the official grand opening, including a preview fundraiser taking place on Sunday, January 17. From 5 to 7 p.m., patrons who stop into Habit Burger in Royal Palm Beach will be eating for a good cause: During that time, all profits will be donated to the Royal Palm Beach Elementary School.
