Best Neighborhood Bakery -- Stork's Cafe and Bakery
For delicious cakes and pastries as well as visits with friends in the gayborhood, the Wilton Manors Stork's location is your bakery. The restaurant is also open lateish, featuring happy hours from 9 to 10 p.m.

Best Napoleons -- CroissanTime
It's not just cream-filled Napoleons that we love at this super French bakery tucked in a shopping center on Route 1: There are the crusty baguettes, crepes, and cafe au lait as well as the market featuring French charcuterie.

Best Baked Desserts -- By Word of Mouth
This quirky restaurant has gotten a gourmet nod for an array of cakes, such as bananas foster or cappuccino loaf, also available as whole cakes for special occasions.

Best Colombian Pastries -- La Placita 
At this Colombian diner, I'm a fan of the savory cheese breads and the bunuelos, perfect timing for Christmas.

Best Croissants -- Rendez-Vous
Though it's a tough call between this bakery and CroissanTime, I'm partial to the fresh-baked croissants here at this Hollywood bakery. Piping hot and flaky, the buttery pastry leaves its delicious mark your fingers and in your lap. Grab some napkins.


Best Bread Overall -- Gran Forno
Who doesn't agree that bread at this artisan bakery is not sublime? A browned, crusty exterior and a beautiful crumb makes for delicious pane, though ciabatta and focaccia are equally as tempting.
