Trader Joe's, the California-based specialty grocery chain with a fanatical following, will be opening the doors to its Palm Beach Gardens store on Friday, September 19, off PGA Blvd.

We were lucky enough to get invited along for another sneak peek before the official grand opening at 8 a.m. tomorrow. But rather than give another photo tour, we went ahead and found five new products worth waiting in line for.

The new Palm Beach Gardens is just one of many that will be part of an ongoing tri-county expansion for Trader Joe's in the coming years. Already this month has seen back-to-back openings, part of a wave of new shops grocer is adding in South Florida, including Broward County's two Trader Joe's -- one in Pembroke Pines, and the other in Fort Lauderdale.

The South Florida area saw the first Trader Joe's in Pinecrest -- in Miami-Dade County -- drawing customers from across the area. The first in Palm Beach County opened in May in Wellington, followed by Delray Beach a few weeks ago. The Boca Raton store, slated for next week, will be the last for the time being.

This week, however, it's the new Palm Beach Gardens store -- a 12,500-square-feet space located in the newly-renovated shopping center at 2560 PGA Blvd.

Now, customers from all over Palm Beach County can enjoy the same specialty Trader Joe's items and discounted pricing -- think cookie butter and two-buck-chuck -- as everyone else.

Cowgirl Bark

New to the store are several items, including cowgirl bark -- a new "lady-like" take on the popular cowboy bark that was released in stores only a few months ago. A combination of white chocolate, pretzels, rice crisps, triple ginger cookies, cranberries, almonds, and peanuts.

Vanilla Coconut Beverage

Here's a unique one. It isn't coconut milk at Trader Joe's. It's coconut beverage. With plenty of calcium, and vitamins A, D, and B12 it's a good choice for those looking for a dairy substitute.

Pumpkin Crisps

A thin, crispy cracker with pumpkin and cranberry is a limited-run item available now at the Palm Beach Gardens Trader Joe's. Like many seasonal items, it won't be around long, so grab it while you can. Sweet and tangy, it's just enough sugar to make it a treat, as well as a cracker for cheese or -- dare we say? -- cookie butter.

Porcini Mushroom Lasagna

Of course, Trader Joe's is best known for its frozen food section, where dozens of specialty dinners and items have won the hearts of thousands over the years. It's not often you see something taken off the rotation -- but new items are always fun. You can find a new pick at the Palm Beach Gardens store now, and it has everyone's attention: the porcini mushroom lasagna. Imported from Italy, pick it up now for just $2.99.

Pumpkin Bars

The store also has many seasonal items, including pumpkin bars -- a riff on cereal bars you find at larger grocers, now in pumpkin flavor. Hurry and find this one: once the stock is sold out, there won't be any more.

Trader Joe's will celebrate the grand opening of its Palm Beach Gardens store on Friday, September 19th at 8 a.m. The store is located at 2560 PGA Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens.
