The Raveonettes' Sune Rose Wagner doesn't look all that happy to be carrying this flag around in the new music video for "Recharge & Revolt." Given the amount of location shooting for the clip, which has shots of New York, the Grand Canyon, and a lot of other American postcard treasures, this was definitely a commitment beyond rolling up to a warehouse space, lip-syncing for two hours, and getting a rough edit turned around by early the next day.
With a fuzzy, forlorn song as his backdrop, it could also be that Wagner wants to emote and make guns with his fingers to ramp up the dramatic tension during his Forrest Gump-worthy journey.
Thanks, Pitchfork.
