Bradenton Florida is unarguably the crown jewel of Manatee County, with its history as the birthplace of the Tropicana orange juice company in the late '40s, and more recently, as the spawning ground for massive selling emo-pop group We the Kings.

The Florida band has no doubt provided the soundtrack for a staggering number of first kisses and summer flings for countless high schoolers over the past few years.

The band, fronted by the perpetually smirking ginger heartthrob Travis Clark, has joined the ranks of New Found Glory and Further Seems Forever as a member of the Sunshine State's emo-punk elite, and will ending the summer and its tour with a night of anthemic and emotional sing-alongs at Revolution Live on August 31.

The tour also features support groups Breathe Carolina, the Ready Set, and T. Mills to make for a night ripped straight from the pages of Alternative Press and an ideal way to end the summer for fans of catchy pop-punk.

We The Kings. Summer Fest 2013 with Breathe Carolina, T. Mills, The Ready Set, Dave Days, and Like the Movies. 6 p.m., Saturday, August 31, at Revolution Live, 100 SW Third Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Tickets cost $20 with fees in advance and $23 day of show. All ages. Call 954-449-1025, or visit jointherevolution.net.
