At Flip Flops Dockside Eatery in Fort Lauderdale, there's a different deal on food almost every day of the week, including a special on their Drunken Mussels.

Flip Flops Dockside Eatery may be hidden underneath the bridge at Oakland Park Boulevard and A1A, but it offers more than just great water views and a fresh breeze from the Intracoastal.
The menu is standard for a casual waterside joint: appetizers like wings, calamari, and conch fritters; entrées like pasta, ribs, and seafood combos. Some notable dishes include baby back ribs that fall off the bone and a fisherman's platter featuring fried shrimp, mahi, and crab cakes.
But the real deal is the daily food specials offered Tuesday through Sunday, when a different dish off the regular menu is sold for less -- and accompanied by an equally affordable drink special.
Take Philly Cheese Steak Tuesday, a sandwich served with minute steak (or a choice of chicken) and a side of fries and coleslaw for $7.99. There's also a BOGO deal on wings on Wednesday, and the Drunken Mussels -- cooked in lager beer with onions and garlic -- for $8 by the pound every Thursday. Each day has a different drink to pair up for $4.
