The top five reasons you should attend the fifth annual New Times Pairings event were spelled out earlier today and, naturally, food ranked right up there, second only to sweet, sweet alcohol.
Since Pairings is an opportunity for local food lovers to sample new and new-to-them cuisine from some of the region's best restaurants, Clean Plate Charlie thought it only fair to let you know who's new to the food segment of the program this year.
There are more than 45 restaurants, food trucks, and vendors on the line-up for the event on Thursday, September 13, and some of them -- YOLO, Steak 954, ROK:BRGR -- are familiar to past Pairings attendees. New to the bill this year are:
The tasting event -- which also includes plenty of wine, liquor, and beer -- is 7 to 10 p.m. at the Broward County Convention Center. Advance tickets for Pairings are $50 for general admission and $90 for VIP. Stay tuned early next week for details on the adult beverages that will be sniffed, sipped, and slammed at the event.
