Chili, beer, and cowboy hats — these are the essence of the annual KISS 99.9 Chili Cook Off. Oh yeah, that and good old American country music. This year's 31st-annual Cook Off will feature headliners Little Big Town, Jake Owen, and Chris Young as the ideal, twangy backdrop to the beloved January tradition.

Up-and-coming country artists Dan & Shay and Maddie & Tae will also grace the 2016 main stage. Chili revelers can also expect the usual array of interactive experiences, including the line-dance tent and, of course, the "largest amateur chili competitions sanctioned by the International Chili Society" (mmm, chili).

This year's event will also feature a new chili competition for local restaurants and craft beer.
