Food festivals are always a great excuse to stuff your face, but a new fest on the scene wants to cram your earhole with good stuff, as well. Feast of the Sea is a brand new waterfront seafood blowout kicking off on September 13, in downtown West Palm Beach. The best part about this soon-to-be crowded crustacean day party is that general admission is free. That's right, roam the grounds and devour fresh tunes, and all you have to pay for is food when the hunger monster strikes (food prices top out at $6!).

For a first year fest, Feast of the Sea is going H.A.M. or whatever the seafood based version of that is. A big cornhole tournament and $10K casting competition is bringing attention, but it's the VIP passes that people are clamoring for. Put up the cash, and you'll be drinking and eating all day for 100 bucks. We love that this festival is combining two great tactics, the enter for free and pay for food method and the all-inclusive option. Finally someone figured it out.
The lineup is so stacked that the shrimp and lobster might get jealous. Mega local bands like Spred the Dub and Raggy Monster will be taking the stage for a day full of Palm Beach County's finest musical offerings. Also included in the lineup is New Times pick for 2014 Best Country Act, Maggie Baugh, a 14-year-old mini Taylor Swift with the right attitude to play the big stage.
"South Florida has festivals, fairs, and events all year round, and that gives me the opportunity to perform, and meet new fans," she told us. "It's a great place for local musicians!" Amen, little lady. And with that, here's the lineup.
