Goya Foods -- one of the nation's largest bean vendors -- has recently come under fire from a company that gave it gas.

H & W Petroleum Company, Inc., says that Goya's subsidiary in Texas didn't pay for $39,084.47 of gas and oil products, in addition to other services, according to a lawsuit recently filed in the Broward County Civil Court.

"Goya accepted, without objection, all the fuel sold," court documents claim.

The dispute stems from a 2008 agreement, when Goya agreed to buy petrol from H & W, the gas giant claims in the filing.

H & W is asking that Goya fulfill the contract and pay up for lawyers' fees.
