Perhaps you've heard of Lady Gaga. And it shouldn't be surprising that she's coming to South Florida for a pair of shows (one in Sunrise, one in Miami) likely to draw a cross-section of big and little monsters.
But what is less known is her history down here prior to the whole international stardom thing. Brandon K. Thorp did some research into the days when people still sometimes called her Stefani Germanotta, and she was hitting Wilton Manors, a small community in Fort Lauderdale, looking for gigs. Thorp got some deets on where she had some luck, and traces how things grew in the years since then. This was only 2008! Tomorrow, we'll unveil some very funny, dated photos from that era.
