Due South to Host Dessert Exchange

If you can't find the perfect gift for someone special this year, Due South Brewing has got you covered. On Thursday, Dec. 13, Due South is hosting their first Holiday Cookie/Dessert Exchange.

Due South's Vice President Jodi Halker says to show up by 6:15 with your baked goods - either two dozen cookies or one dozen brownies or cupcakes - and you'll be free to roam the options to pick up the homemade desserts of your liking, including some from local restaurants who are joining in the festivities.

Rustico Italiano, The Backyard and Sugar Mama Sweets will be supplying some of their own baked specialties. No RSVP required but you can add the Facebook event to your calendar.

Mobile food truck Ps561 will be at the brewery from 5-9 p.m. to serve up their specialty hot dogs. Beer won't be part of the exchange but Halker says anyone who attends can order drinks as usual.
