Throwdown at Barrel of Monks
Barrel of Monks Brewing (1141 South Rogers Cir. #5, Boca Raton) will host a four-course dinner battle. Wynwood Brewing and Barrel of Monks will pair their beers with courses created by chef Ryan Lorenzo of the Foxy Brown the night of, without any prior knowledge of what is being served. Kapow Chef Pairing Series: Japanese Whisky
Kapow Noodle Bar (431 Plaza Real Mizner Park, Boca Raton) will serve a five-course Japanese whisky tasting dinner at 6 and 8:30 p.m. Courses include five spice duck confit shumai, szechaun peppercorn seared scallop, sous vide Korean BBQ octopus, tondori wild boar brasiole, and brown butter Chinese sponge cake.
