Mother's Day Tea at Flagler Museum in West Palm Beach

If you're anything but a wiz in the kitchen and you want to honor mom with a special Mother's Day meal this weekend, consider leaving the preparations to the folks at Flagler Museum in West Palm Beach.

The museum will host a special Mother's Day weekend tea Saturday and Sunday in Café des Beaux-Arts with a Gilded Age-inspired lunch with scones, tea sandwiches and a special blend of tea.

Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. In addition to the edible delights, moms receive other treats, including admission to the museum, a corsage and a souvenir photo. Tickets are $25/$40 for children/adults who are not museum members and $20/$25 for children/adults who are members of the museum. Call 561-655-2833 to purchase.
