UNcooking Class

No oven needed for this one! Learn how to uncook at La Frutera Garden Bar (2430 NE 13 Ave., Fort Lauderdale). Guests will learn how to make zucchini tartare, spicy noodles, and berry cobbler from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Admission is $60 and includes a juice or smoothie of choice. Arietta Wine Tasting
Stop by Virginia Philip Wine Shop & Academy (101 North Clematis St. #150, West Palm Beach) to Skype with cowinemaker of Arietta Winery Morgan Maureze and taste a vertical of their Syrah-Merlot blend Variation 1. Free Hoffman’s Chocolates Factory Tours

Hoffman’s Chocolates (multiple locations) will host a Backpack Donation Drive for elementary school students in Broward and Palm Beach. Those who donate a new school backpack will receive two vouchers for free Hoffman’s Chocolates factory tours. Each tour is 15 minutes long and includes samplings as well as a firsthand look at how Hoffman’s Chocolates are created. The drive is from July 25 to August 15. Visit

Olympic Cocktail Menu at American Social

American Social (721 E. Las Olas Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale) will raise their glasses to a new cocktail menu, which includes five variations of the Caipirinha. Each variation represents one country (United States, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, and Spain) and costs $13. This starts August 5 and ends August 21. Visit

Dine Out Lauderdale at Burlock Coast

Pokémon Specials at Quarterdeck

Quarterdeck Restaurants (multiple locations) will serve Pokémon-inspired drinks, such as the Oddish Pear Martini, Pikachu Punch, and Slowpoke Strawberry Lemonade.
