South Florida Food and Drink Events This Weekend: $1 Oysters, Drink Like a German Party, and Palm Beach Summer Beer Fest


Friday Daytime Specials
Burlock Coast (1 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) will sell $1 oysters as well as bottomless drinks. This includes mimosas, bloody Mary's, house brew, rum punch and more. This is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit

Full Moon Dinner Party 
Beauty & the Feast Bar | Kitchen (601 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) will host a three-course dinner at 7 p.m. This costs $39.95 and also features live music and a fire show. Visit


Yoga at Shooters Waterfront
Get your namaste on at Shooters Waterfront (3033 NE 32 Ave., Fort Lauderdale). The free yoga class is an hour long starting at 9 a.m. Guests must bring their own yoga mats and reserve a spot beforehand. Visit

Palm Beach Summer Beer Fest
Love beer? Here's your chance to partake in unlimited sampling of over 250 beers from more than 60 brewers. The festival takes place at the Expo Center South Florida Fairgrounds (9067 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach). Tickets start at $40 for advanced purchase and are $55 at the gate. Drink Like a German

Chart House (3000 NE 32 Ave., Fort Lauderdale) will let patrons be the judge of two tequila drinks. These include the Ginger Mint Paloma or the Cucumber Cilantro Margarita. The winner of the best tasting drink will be on the menu the entire month of August. Visit

Hoffman’s Chocolates (all locations) will feature their limited edition ice cream sundaes and milkshakes. This lasts until July 31 and benefits United Way of Broward County’s ReadingPals Program and United Way of Palm Beach County’s partner, the Literacy Coalition.
