Wine Tasting Social
New Wine Scene in West Palm Beach will host a Wine Tasting Social from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 19. Admission gets you $10 to spend on wine from the Enomatic Experience as well as 50% happy hour prices on select food and wine during the event. Upon check in guests will receive a wine card that will keep track of their tastes from the wines "on tap" in the Enomatic machines. Upon check out, guests will get $10 off their bill for the evening. Admission is $10 for early tickets (which are still available online) and $15 for late tickets and all guests must prepay. Brews 4 Bros
Delray Beach Running Company is hosting its first gentleman's night with Brew 4 Bros from 6:30to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 19. Beer will be provided by local Saltwater Brewery. This is a happy hour event for runners, so be ready for the Doghouse Multisport Training Center one-mile CompuTrainer competition, with prizes for fastest times — no clip-ins needed and regular sneakers are permitted. For the health minded SloBody, Dr. Kevin Christie of Health-Fit Chiropractic and Sports Medicine, and the biostation's InBody Composition Scale will also be part of the evening's festivities. International Surf Day Celebration
June 20 is International Surfing Day, and Delray’s Saltwater Brewery will celebrate this holiday joined by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit environmental organization Surfrider Foundation Palm Beach County Chapter. There will be the Caribbean Out of Many Café food truck and Saltwater Brewery snacks such as chips and beef jerky. Guests are welcome to bring their own food or have it delivered as well. Among the drinkable carbohydrates is New Belgian Session Pale Ale, New Imperial Amber Ale, and the rerelease of the brewery’s South End Session Ale, which are aged on Florida’s seagrape wood. Proceeds from the South End Session Ale will go toward the Surf-rider Foundation, Palm Beach County chapter. You can hang ten on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Saltwater Brewery, located at 1701 W. Funky Arts for Fido
Funky Buddha Brewery will host an art show and sale benefiting local dog rescues, including Bull Terrier Rescue and Just Jacks Rescue from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 20. Donate $5 or more at the Bull Terrier Rescue tent to receive a wristband good for $1 off Funky Buddha drafts during the event. Food Junkies food truck will on hand for the hungry. Purchase handmade crafts, art, and other goods from local vendors including: The Clay Cache by Samantha McInnis, Galvin Leatherworks, Vita Di Amore, Salty Sista, Creative State, and more. There will also be a raffle with each vendor donating one handmade item for the prizes. All proceeds from wristbands, raffle tickets, and donations will be split evenly between all participating animal rescue groups. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are also welcome. The Fort Lauderdale Bus Loop
The Fort Lauderdale Bus Loop trolleys run from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday. For a $20 donation, you can ride any of the Bus Loop’s 14 designated trolley buses along the five-mile route that shuttles patrons back and forth between the 17th Street Causeway and Fort Lauderdale Beach. Stops include venues like Bimini Boatyard, Southport Raw Bar, Quarterdeck, Waxy O’Connor’s, BurgerFi, Cold Stone Creamery, Bahia Cabana, Blondie’s, Cafe Del Mar, and Lulu’s Bait Shack. Prepay is open daily until noon. There are two check-in points: Beach Place (17 S. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd.) and Waxy O’Connors (1095 SE 17th St.) The cost is $25 per person with early prepay or $35 per person at check-in the day of.
