UPDATE: The Crazydilla food truck has been found, and it's all thanks to social media support.
The food truck that was stolen last Friday was found yesterday in a warehouse facility in Davie by Kyle Miller, who reported his discovery to the Davie police department after seeing the news on Facebook.
According to Crazydilla owner Noah Tanner, the truck has no physical damage but is missing its gas pedal (who steals a gas pedal?), a $2,500 generator, the truck's battery and fuse box, and miscellaneous kitchen equipment including a chef knife set. He estimated the damages will cost him somewhere between $5,000 and $10,000.
"Insurance will cover the losses, but we know anything we get won't be for several weeks — even months — and I honestly can't afford to be out of work that long," says Noah.
In the meantime, Noah has set up a Go Fund Me account to raise funds that will help cover the cost of the stolen equipment and repair work. To say "thank you" for all the help and support, Crazydilla is also planning to host a special free food giveaway at Inkwell Pub in Margate once the truck is back up and running.

"Anyone who comes to drink at the bar gets to eat for free at Crazydilla," says Noah. "It will be our way to saying thank you to everyone who did what they could to help us find the truck."

In 2010, the Coral Springs couple launched their food truck, which is best-known today for its fusion-style take on staple Mexican eats including the popular Cuban, a spin on a traditional Cuban sandwich made in quesadilla form with pulled pork, Serrano ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and a garlic mustard aioli.

The truck — valued at $70,000 — is covered by insurance, adds Noah, and will be replaced if it remains missing. In the meantime, fellow area food trucks have stepped up and are coming to the rescue, offering their trucks so that Crazydilla customers can get their fix at the truck's usual stops attending various Food Truck Invasion roundups from Fort Pierce south to Wynwood in Miami.
