Don't be sad. Last night's highly anticipated Depeche Mode concert may have come and gone faster than Dave Gahan could change his vest, but it's a brand new Monday, and we still have plenty to look forward to!
This week's concerts in South Florida run the gamut, from the smooth, baby-making throw-backs of Lionel Richie to 18-year-old Chicago rapper Chief Keef's clicqued up live show to the feel-good sounds of Fun. Whatever your mood, there's definitely one or two stops for you to make on the ol' circuit this week.

There's no doubt it's troubling that rappers continue to glorify violence and gang activity in their music, including those coming out of the virtual war zone that is "Chi-raq" -- but that doesn't change the fact that we still enjoy the beats and unique swag of the incredibly young up-and-comer that is Chief Keef.

STP may not have gotten much respect in their earlier days, but something funny happened as the nineties turned into the aughts, and the band grew more and more legitimate when viewed in the annals of rock history. Part of it was their competitors either faded away (Pearl Jam), disappeared (Alice In Chains), or died (Nirvana). More importantly, mainstream rock radio grew so God awful with its Limp Bizkits and Linkin Parks that at one point, STP's "Sour Girl" was the best song on the dial.
