If you have ever had the pleasure of grabbing a slice at Mellow Mushroom in Delray Beach, you know that the secret to their amazing pizza is in the bread - which is probably why they refer to themselves as "pizza bakers."
If you've never had it, then 1. you should, and 2. this is not New York pizza with enormous droopy slices that dribble grease down your arm. This is thick-crust, gourmet pizza with toppings like goat cheese and kalamata olives served alongside a selection of more than 50 craft beers.
Even with all that, Mellow lives up to its name. It's an unfussy, casual
pizza joint with crazy art on the walls and a sense of humor. To win
you over - as if they need to - Mellow Mushroom is now offering a chance
to win free pizza for a year and all you have to do is "like" them on
If you "Like" their Facebook page by November 11 you will automatically get a half order of warm, handmade pretzels - made from the same dough as their pizzas. But, wait, there's more...
"If you like mellow mushroom
by November 11 then you have the opp to win pizza for a year," says Tammy Lucidh, Manager of Events and Pomotions for Mellow Mushroom.
Many of you have probably already "Liked" the Delray Beach location's page but in order to enter the free pizza drawing and claim your pretzel coupon (valid through November 30) you have to like the page at FollowMellow.com.
And here's that video we promised...
