Congratulations, you made it through yet another working week. You might as well give yourself a pat on the back to celebrate — or better yet, a drink or three. Whether you're looking to celebrate International Cachaca Day, celebrate summer with a seafood bake, or have Sunday brunch in downtown Delray Beach, there's something for you to do in South Florida this weekend.

Friday

National Sailor Jerry Day
OK, we didn't event know this was a thing — until now. Apparently, today is National Sailor Jerry Day. At least it is at Kreepy Tiki in Fort Lauderdale, where you can celebrate the holiday with a tattoo giveaway by the talented tattoo artists next door at the Kreepy Tiki Tattoo & Boutique. Want a tattoo? The rum brand Sailor Jerry will give you a free one at a variety of events all over the country, when Sailor Jerry rum inspires tattoo studios to host special events with unique giveaways featuring old-school tattoos to any takers. It’s an homage to their rum’s namesake, Norman "Sailor Jerry" Collins, a legendary tattoo artist who inked slews of soldiers in Hawaii during WWII. At Kreepy, prizes will be raffled at the door. The rest can be won online by using live event hashtags #sailorjerryday2015 and #kreepytiki on Facebook. Winners will be announced at 10 p.m. While you wait, enjoy complimentary Sailor Jerry rum inspired BBQ and cocktails from 8 to 10 p.m. The event will also feature live music and pin up models.

International Cachaca Day
Today, celebrate cachaça (ka-SHA-sa), the key ingredient to the popular caipirinha and Brazil’s national liquor, otherwise known as the South American equivalent of tequila. Now you can celebrate — and even learn about — this spirit with a number of events celebrating International Cachaca Day in Fort Lauderdale. At Rock Bar, Leblon Cachaça will be pouring in honor of the International holiday with live samba dance performances and $5 caipirinhas from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Or join Spazio next door as they celebrate the summer with the first of a series of (F)ood, (A)rt, (M)usic, (E)entertainment events — this Friday's in honor of International Cachaca Day. The restaurant will host its own Art of Cachaca cocktail clinic, and those interested in learning about Brazil’s national spirit (both how it is made, and how to make cocktails with it) can take part in a special evening. The event takes place from 6 to 7 p.m. and costs $20 per person and includes clinic and light hors d’oeuvres, plus a keepsake Art of Cachaca kit. To reserve a spot call 954-564-8191.

Food in Motion Farmers' Market
Today, Food In Motion will host its after-dark green market in Peter Feldman Park. The mission: to foster community connectivity and provide a platform for local artisans and food growers to share, sell, and promote their small business operations. From 5-11 p.m., enjoy this free monthly food-lovers event featuring fresh-picked organic produce, food trucks, vegan fare, gourmet baked goods, locally-made products, and more. You'll also have a chance to meet local farmers, and learn more about urban farming in Fort Lauderdale. The event features a special "Night In The Park" and offers visitors a chance to sample some free beer (for those 21 years of age and older). That's right: free beer. Make sure to bring some cash for tips, though. They will be collected to raise funds for more exciting free stuff at future Food In Motion events, including free movies in the park, live music, trolleys for parking — and more free beer. Don't forget to bring a blanket or lawn chair, a few board games, and it's an evening of South Florida food, drink, and fun. Food In Motion will take place on Friday, November 14, at Peter Feldman Park in Fort Lauderdale. The event takes place the second Friday of each month, is free to the public, and takes place from 5-11 p.m. For more visit flaglerfoodinmotion.com, or call 954-785-7475.

Boat Bar Crawl
Bar crawls are fun. Bus loops are even better. But come on. This is South Florida. We can do better than that. Every Saturday, starting June 6, a 35-seat water taxi will take willing patrons through a carefully planned tour of Fort Lauderdale's waterways, making four stops from 5 to 10 p.m. The boat bar crawl meets outside Briny Irish Pub on the New River and kicks off with a check-in beverage before the three- to four-hour voyage gets underway.
