Authority Zero to Incite Culture Room Masses

Over the past 16 years, Arizona punk act Authority Zero has survived numerous lineup changes, demanding tours, emo madness, and an evolving music industry. That's why it's no surprise that its latest full-length endeavor is appropriately dubbed Stories of Survival. Also not surprising is the band's riot-inducing live performances that draw frequent comparisons to Rage Against the Machine.

On the band's South Florida stop, expect frontman Jason DeVore and fellow bandmates to stress out venue security by manifesting a chaotic environment with their speedy fusion of politically charged punk, ska, and reggae. With their genre-bending style of music that includes slight incorporations of Spanish and Portuguese influences, the crowd is bound to be musically diverse. When the band belts out its universal anthem "Revolution," the crowd should become a single mass of concertgoers, displaying their hatred of "the man" by chanting with clenched fists in the air.
