Rascal Flatts is everywhere. On Hershey's commercials. On the Today show. On reality shows like the recent Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. And next year, the most heralded country act of the decade will get its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It's only appropriate that the band's 2009 album is titled Unstoppable.
The band's tremendous crossover appeal can be traced to the group's infectious hit "Life Is a Highway," featured in the animated movie Cars. Countless others have wed to "Bless the Broken Road" or shed a few tears to the poignant "Skin (Sarabeth)." Bandmates Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney are celebrating a decade as a group this year, and they plan to release a new album titled Nothing Like This in November. Joining them will be American Idol season-five alum Kellie Pickler and singer/songwriter Chris Young.
