Chef Angelo Elia Versus Chef Jean Pierre at Fourth-Annual Cook-Off

The UFC has Maynard versus Guida, but the food world has its own beatdown at the fourth-annual France versus Italy Cook-Off at Casa D'Angelo.

At 7 p.m. Monday, we'll have chef/owner of Casa D'Angelo restaurants, Angelo Elia, in one corner and Chef Jean Pierre of Jean Pierre's Cooking School in the other, ready to duke it out, culinary style.

Each chef will whip up a special four-course menu that will feature two appetizers, two fish, two meats, and two desserts that they will

use to try to win over their customers.

The chefs will also pair each course with corresponding French and Italian wines during their annual food fight, while they walk their eaters through what's hitting their taste buds.

After being full and drunk, each guest will get a chance to vote for his or her favorite chef, crowning only one as the ultimate champion.
Reserve your seat by calling Casa D'Angelo at 954-564-1234. Tickets cost $145 per person.
